Minutes + Summary:

The event was well attended (50+), with a variety of industry personnel in attendance. There were;

• Architects, Engineers, Clients, Public Sector Procurement, Academics, Manufacturers.

The meeting ran through the purpose, outcomes and mechanism for delivering the events. This is summarised in the file below or you can read our MoU here: LINK.

A few straw polls were undertaken and the discussion moved around needing to ensure we had influencers and decision makers in the room. A range of people from decision makers to entry-level staff are all needed to collaborate and help communicate the benefit for sustainable design, which, isn’t always increasing cost.

Other polls were undertaken to hear;

• What Topics would we like to hear?
• Who would we like to hear from?

The answers to these are within the slide deck below, but it was interesting that themes of retrofit, carbon and circular economy were popoular. As were; clients, developers and contractors.
